A shop worker has appeared in court accused of poisoning his boss with a Viagra pill on April Fool's Day.
Benjamin Chope, 24, from Newton Abbot, Devon, is alleged to have given the sex drug to manager Daniel Webber while at work at a Home Bargains store.
He is charged
with unlawfully and maliciously administering to Mr Webber a poison or other destructive or noxious substance.
The substance was administered with intent to injure, aggrieve or annoy Mr Webber, the court heard.
The poison was found to be Sildenafil, which is more commonly known as Viagra.
