11 die in Fiji sea tragedies

At least 11 Fijians, including four children and two pregnant women, are presumed dead after their small boat capsized in rough weather between Taveuni and Koro islands, northeast of the main Fiji island of Viti Levu.

Two men swam for almost 72 hours to reach Taveuni after the accident on Monday.

And eight more people are feared drowned after a second fibreglass boat went missing on Thursday, soon after leaving Kubulau island, near Taveuni.
