And the bad? Having to pull your bag along bumpy cobblestones to get there (cars can't drive in the old town), but that's not really a complaint — it's rather quaint.
What's in the neighbourhood? Interesting little shops and restaurants and it's a short walk to the Limmat River and Lake Zurich. The Kunsthaus, Schauspielhaus, Opera House and Tonhalle are also in walking distance. It's easy to get around on foot and everything else is accessible by tram.
Toiletries: Aesop shampoo, conditioner, body wash and mouthwash.
Food and drink: Breakfast is included at the Delish cafe, with plenty of tasty Swiss delicacies — if you like cheese for breakfast, you won't be disappointed. Dinner is served at Baltho Restaurant and Bar. I enjoyed a great old fashioned and some tasty polenta chips.
The bed: A queen made of two adjoining beds. It was comfortable and I slept well.
View? The other old buildings in the area.
Bathroom: A compact but stylish bathroom with a rainfall shower.
Free Wi-Fi? Yes and I had no problems with it.

Noise: Despite being right in town, I didn't notice much noise.
Perfect for: Solo travellers, couples, those who appreciate good design.
