Bathroom: Quite small but big enough for a bathtub, so I was happy.
Toiletries: A large selection of luxurious made-in-the-UK Gilchrist and Soames toiletries. Shower gels, shampoos, moisturisers — the works.
Food and drink: The complimentary continental breakfast was superb. The buffet had a wide selection of cheeses, cured meats, yoghurts, cereals, mini Danishes, croissants and muffins. Cooked breakfasts were offered at an additional charge.
Views: Our room was on the fourth floor facing Cromwell Rd so our views were of traffic and a bit of construction, and we had a prime view of the 19th-century architecture of the townhouses across the street.
Noise: None, which we were pleasantly surprised about given our room was facing the road. Easy to forget we were staying in a hotel as we didn't hear any noise from other guests.
Price: $295 per night for a Queen Double Room.
Free Wi-Fi? Yes, super-fast and no problems during our two-night stay.
What's so good about this place? Being so close to central London, also the free Prosecco during happy hour every evening was a great incentive to wander back to the hotel a little earlier than planned.
Would I return? In a heartbeat. We loved the room, the daily continental breakfast was a treat, and the location was handy for a pair of eager beaver sightseers. The hotel was well-priced for what was on offer during the stay and the central location.
