Escape to Queenstown for Winter Festival

It's time to plan a mid-winter escape to the Queenstown Winter Festival, which runs July 1-10.

The Festival Opening Party on July 2 lights up Queenstown Bay with a brilliant fireworks display, heralding the start of dozens of events both on and off the slopes. More than 30 bands provide everything from smooth jazz to rock and reggae.

There's a Mardi Gras, the glamorous Snow Ball and plenty of free entertainment.
