St Mary's Diocesan School top achieving senior students were recognised on Friday at the annual senior prizegiving.
Year 13 student Ellen Hodder was awarded School Dux and the Massey University Vice Chancellor's Academic Scholarship.
Ellen was the 2015 deputy Arts Captain and Head Chorister as well as the lead singer in the school rock band 'Weekend Contradiction'. Next year Ellen plans to study Veterinary Science at Massey University.
Bridget Mestrom was named as Proxime Accessit and was awarded the Victoria University Academic Scholarship. Bridget will be heading to Wellington pursuing Law and Design.
Year 12 student Eva Langton was announced as the 2016 Head Girl and was awarded with a scholarship to attend the Australasian Alliance of Girls' Schools Leadership Camp at Bond University, Queensland in January 2016.
