Drama, mystery and intrigue take centre stage at the Cue Theatre as cast and crew perform Ken Ludwig's The Game's Afoot, under director Joan Ertel.
Laughter and applause rang out from the audience on opening night as the the full house enjoyed the antics of the energetic cast of eight.
A game of Cluedo comes alive on the stage as David Rohe, Elizabeth McCafferty, John Bulter, Karlina Nickson, Dixon Lobb, Helen Cloke, Valda hinz and Gloria Webby investigate a murder during their Christmas dinner party.
David Rohe plays William Gilette an eccentric actor who has found fame playing Sherlock Holmes throughout the world. William takes on the role of Holmes as the farcical whodunnit plot unfolds on the stage.
Stratford's Gloria Webby plays famed theatre critic and gossip columnist Daria Chase. While she receives a somewhat chilly welcome from the characters on the stage, she was warmly welcomed by the audience on opening night. Gloria plays the role wonderfully, think Cruella de Vil but dripping in gold.
