A class of Year 10 Stratford High School (SHS) students got their hands dirty on Friday afternoon as they helped finish Koru Kindergarten's new playground.
Students laid out the bark for the new playground, the finishing touch to the project.
Bridget Davis, teacher at Koru Kindergarten says the playground project has been a long time coming and the kindergarten have a had a lot of help from parents, local businesses, "and of course the help from the students is wonderful".
"The children are all very eager to play in the new area."
Brian Daysh, teacher at SHS, says the students have been eager to help and worked hard to have the playground completed for the kindergarten.
