"Becky and I are so proud of all the commitment and effort all the students have put into this."
Becky says the success of the show is also a reflection of the support the dance school has received from the parents and families of the students.
"It was a short time frame to pull a show together, and the families have been very accommodating with supplying costumes and outfits for the show."
'The Runway Project' will showcase a range of performances including jazz and Broadway style numbers, hip-hop, funk and classic contemporary.
Modelling students will be taking to the catwalk to model outfits from a range of Taranaki businesses including Willo, Cottage Lane, Martins Inglewood, 27 Dresses, Black Bird, Guize Clothing, Romayse Tutus and Beach Street Surf Shop.
As a special treat, a group of past models have agreed to come back and perform with the students on Saturday night.
"It's so nice to be working with these girls again. They are great role models for the junior students," says Becky.
Flash Mob Photography have provided all the graphics for the show and Becky says the show couldn't succeed without them and all of the dedicated backstage crew.
While this is the end of year performance for the students, Becky and Hayley say Studio 2 will be back in 2016 with classes being run through the school terms.
Becky says 'The Runway Project' is a great way for prospective families and students to see what Studio 2 is all about, and encourages the community to come along and enjoy the show.
'The Runway Project' is on Saturday, December 12 from 7pm at Stratford High School. Tickets are $10 from Dimocks 100% Stratford. Limited door sales available.
