It may have rained on their parade, but the spirits of the Inglewood community were not dampened at the Inglewood Lions Club Christmas Parade on Saturday.
Christmas Through The Ages was the theme for this year's annual event, and parade convener Peter Winter of the Inglewood Lions Club says he was blown away by the creativity and the quality of the floats on display.
Schools, early childhood centres and community groups from throughout Inglewood entered the parade this year.
The Inglewood Rotary Club entered an empty sleigh in the parade and as it made its way along the route spectators were encouraged to donate a wrapped present for a needy child.
These presents will be delivered to families before Christmas with guidance from Foodbank, schools, churches and the District Nurses.
