An 0800 TUI ORA helpline, as well as a live chat service on the Tui Ora website, have been set up to provide additional assistance during Covid-19 Alert Level 4.
Thisruns alongside the ongoing Whānau Ora support, which includes health and social services, provided to families to help them navigate through these uncertain times.
Hayden Wano, chief executive of Tui Ora, says the team of over 140 health professionals and support staff are committed to being responsive to the needs of whānau.
"The health and wellbeing of families is our priority. We have a great team already working with kaumātua, kuia and our most vulnerable. We also have staff available to speak with anyone who has concerns or needs support."
0800 TUI ORA (0800 884 672) is open during business hours and 10am – 2pm during weekends. The live chat, available on the website www.tuiora.co.nz, is called Tui Ora Whānau Support and is available at the same times.

These helplines provide welfare advice and information about the essential services Tui Ora continues to provide including GP clinic Tui Ora Family Health and pharmacy, youth services, community nursing and online Taranaki Stop Smoking and cultural support.
Flu vaccinations are available for the most vulnerable, with Coastal and North Taranaki pop-up clinics beginning on Thursday, April 2 and Friday, April 3. Those aged over-65, pregnant women and people with chronic or long-term conditions are eligible for free vaccinations. The flu vaccination clinics are in Ōkato, Puniho, Rahotu, Parihaka, Urenui, Waitara and Bell Block.
Tui Ora is also working collaboratively with five local iwi; Te Kotahitanga o Te Atiawa, Te Kāhui o Taranaki Iwi, Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Tama, Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Maru Taranaki Trust and Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Mutunga to provide important Covid-19 information to whānau.
