BIG PLANS: The Eltham Business and Professional Association are counting down to Christmas with lots of exciting events planned for the end of the year.
President Michael Jago says the Eltham community are enjoying welcoming visitors during the garden festivals and are running a retail competition in the local businesses.
By spending $10 in any participating store, shoppers are in to win a $50 gardening voucher.
Upcoming events: Wednesday, December 2 is Ladies Shopping night. All shops in the town are open late plus 25 home businesses will be on display in Touchpoint from 5pm - 9pm. Monday, December 7 will be the Eltham Foodbank collection. Wednesday, December 9 is Santa's Cave at Touchpoint. Photos from 10.30am-12pm, also Friday, December 11 from 5pm-8pm. Friday, December 11 is the Eltham Lions Christmas Parade from 6pm with a market from 5pm. Sunday, December 13 is public Christmas Carols, barbecue and Christmas Movie, at Touchpoint from 6pm-8pm.
