Across the district lambs have been washed, calves brushed, piglets prettified and goats groomed in readiness for pet days or calf and lamb days at schools in the area.
Pupils from Ngaere and Midhirst schools were just some of the many to enjoy the annual date on their school calendar last week and the Stratford Press was there to capture some of the action.
