Anchor Growing Communities, a joint initiative with local New World supermarkets, has launched this week at New World Stratford.
Anchor and New World have selected Taranaki Hospice, Stratford Primary School, and the Stratford Parents Centre to take part in the project as it rolls out over the next three months.
Aimed at donating funds to locally based charities and all-round good causes, Anchor Growing Communities asks customers who purchase Anchor milk products at New World Stratford to pledge their support to one of the three by placing a token in the bin marked with their name and cause. Anchor spokeswoman, Helena Jannetta, says Anchor is really excited to be involved with helping out the Stratford community.
To support your charity, purchase any Anchor milk product from New World Stratford, and place your token into the specially marked bin.
