New Zealand's Greg Wilcox was in early medal contention in fourth place after two days of the World OK Dinghy sailing championships in Denmark overnight.
Wilcox, of Wellington, finished eighth and 12th after his win in race two, leaving him on 37 points after four of the 10 races.
Britain'sNick Craig was a runaway leader with eight points from four races, while Wilcox was just three points off the bronze medal position in the 64-strong fleet.
Wilcox was the best placed of the 10 New Zealand sailors in Denmark, with Steve McDowell next best in 10th with 60 points.
