Yachting: Sailor scores double

Tauranga's Peter Burling has claimed the Starling match racing and fleet racing double in New Plymouth.

Burling, 15, won the match racing regatta last week then claimed seven wins from 10 races to win the fleet racing title over the weekend.

Burling also won both titles last year, making him the first sailor to claim consecutive wins.

Jane Monk (Otago) won the Alan Sayer Trophy for the top female sailor, finishing 21st overall.
