New Zealand have won the highly-regarded teams title at the Optimist world yachting championships in Ecuador.
Spearheaded by Wakatere Boating Club sailor Paul Snow-Hansen, who finished second, and Daniel Willcox, of Murrays Bay, who was fourth, New Zealand clinched the team trophy with Poland second and Italy third.
