In themen's Mistral, Jon-Paul Tobin remained fourth overall with three races remaining following his ninth and 11th placings.
Shelley Hesson and Linda Dickson moved up to fifth overall in the women's 470 class after adding another two top results to their series.
They returned third and seventh placings today, pleasing returns particularly after they ripped their kite in the first race.
Andrew Murdoch is sixth in the Laser class qualification series after second and fifth placings in one of the four fleets.
Defending world champions, Simon Cooke and Peter Nicholas, were the top New Zealanders in the men's 470, sitting in 11th after finishing third in today's third race.
