A surprise late entry is about to be made for the next America's Cup in 2007.
The final deadline for entries is in the early hours of tomorrow morning, our time.
Sources are reporting a late German entry is about to be confirmed, and the Berlin syndicate will bring the
list of challengers to 10.
The Germans will join syndicates from New Zealand, the US, South Africa, France, Spain, Sweden and Italy.
However, the OzBoyz Challenge has announced it will not be racing.
The Australian syndicate has run out of time to finalise funding and logistical arrangements to mount a challenge for the Auld Mug.
