Yachting: Alfa Romeo wins in Sydney

New super maxi yacht Alfa Romeo won the Big Boat Challenge on Sydney Harbour yesterday. Alfa Romeo, skippered by New Zealander Neville Crichton, held on to win by one length from fellow super maxi and Sydney-to- Hobart favourite Wild Oats. Wild Oats made the perfect start but was overhauled by Alfa Romeo, which at one stage led by more than a minute.
