What's the bigger story? the All Blacks' US experiment or the rise of competitive international rugby league?
Lonergan: The massive publicity was here in New Zealand but I very much doubt it was in Chicago. It's 10 times better than not doing it.
Guerin: the league is more important. We have awoken a giant. Samoan league now could be the new powerhouse which balances out the other three.
Veitch: We're not seeing 40 point blowouts which has been symbolic of rugby league and the international game.

Lonergan: My gut feeling is the deal will be 100 percent done. The only thing they're waiting on is signatures on the contract. Eric Watson does not make a tweet saying 'Kieran Foran welcome to the club' if he's not there.
