Sitak and Sharan will face the seventh seeds Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo in the second round.
"We have both played them individually before, and I lost a close one to them at the Australian Open last year and we know what they are doing and what we need to do to win that match and I believe we can do it," Sitak said.
Meanwhile fellow Kiwi Michael Venus and his South African partner Raven Klaasen have found out who their second round opponents will be tomorrow NZT. The eighth seeds will face Argentine Maximo Gonzalez and Chilean Nicolas Jarry.
Marcus Daniell and his Dutch partner Wesley Koolhof will come up against the fourth seeds Brazilian Bruno Soares and Britain's Jamie Murray.
It's a match that Daniell is relishing.
"I am really looking to get some revenge on those guys, I have played them a number of times and the last two times I have been in a winning position against them. I think Wes and I as a team would be good to get a win over one of those really established top five teams," Daniell said.
