Tennis: Davis Cup team put out to grass

New Zealand will play a Davis Cup tennis tie on grass for the first time since 1996 when they meet India in Calcutta for the Asia-Oceania semifinal in April.

Captain Glenn Wilson yesterday named the four players who swept Pakistan aside 5-0 in Hamilton last month as the team for the tie.

They are Mark Nielsen, James Shortall, Alistair Hunt and Robbie Cheyne. New Zealand last played India last year, losing 4-1.
