Shane Warne death: Son Jackson claims Covid vaccine had role in heart attack

Shane Warne’s son Jackson claims his father’s death was linked to a Covid vaccination despite an autopsy finding he died of natural causes.

The Australian spinner died in 2022 following a heart attack in Koh Samui, Thailand.

The 52-year-old was found to have had suffered from congenital heart weakness.

Jackson, 26, was asked about his dad’s death on the 2Worlds Collide podcast, where he claimed Covid vaccines might have played a role.

“I definitely think it was involved, and I don’t even think saying that is controversial anymore,” Jackson said.

“With the amount of data that’s come out, even if Dad had underlying health issues, I think this brought it straight to the surface, and that’s one thing that I’ve always struggled with.

“Because my first impression as soon as I hung up the phone, I instantly blamed the Government, I instantly blamed Covid and the vaccine.”

The cause of death was declared as coronary artery atherosclerosis, a condition in which plaque builds up in the heart and narrows or completely blocks arteries, potentially leading to a heart attack.

Foul play was also ruled out in the autopsy.

One symptom is chest pain, something Shane reportedly experienced in the summer before he headed to Thailand. The Daily Mail reported he had allegedly seen a cardiologist in Melbourne for the issue.

The former cricketer was found unresponsive in his villa in March 2022 when a friend he was with tried to wake him.

The group he was with attempted CPR and an ambulance then took him to Thai International Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Australian took 708 test wickets in 145 matches between 1992 and 2007.

The leg spinner helped Australia win the 1999 Cricket World Cup and was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in 2013.
