A look at some of the biggest bets and market movers from the week.

With Super Rugby heading to the knockout rounds, the money continues to pour in on the defending champions.

The Crusaders are by far the best backed of teams going into this weekend with 99 percent of the money on them to win their match in Christchurch against the Sharks on Saturday night, even as heavy favourites at $1.06.

The biggest bet so far is a $25,000 stake on the men in red and black to win, as well as bets of $11,100, $4,900 and $4,100. Of course, more bets are likely to come in before kickoff.

It's not just the head to head market where the Crusaders are being supported, with their price to lift the trophy for a second straight year into $1.55 after opening the season at $4.50.

One punter will be particularly keen to see that outcome eventuate, having placed a $40,000 bet on the Crusaders at $2 three weeks ago.

Elsewhere in the sporting world, eyes will be locked on Carnoustie for the 147th Open Championship, where Kiwi Ryan Fox is in action.

Paying $101 to win the tournament, he's attracted plenty of action from Kiwi punters and is the best backed of any golfer in the field in Scotland this week.

However, one punter will be focused on a couple of Englishmen after placing two $50 Multi bets with the potential for huge payoffs.

Both bets featured Webb Simpson to lead after the first round of the Greenbrier Classic ($26) two weeks ago, which he achieved after shooting a blistering round of 61.

The first bet then has Tyrell Hatton to triumph at Carnoustie at $41 which, if successful, would return $53,300. With the second bet he has selected Tommy Fleetwood to win the Open at $26, with a potential return of $23,400.

The Open hasn't been won by an Englishman since Nick Faldo in 1992, but one Kiwi at least will be hoping that changes on Monday morning.
