Steven Ferguson was back on the water after an absence last week. He cleared out from the field in the 5km Surf Ski Paddle, to win by nearly a minute from Mitchell Travis and Ben Fouhy. Dene Simpson paddled home first in the women's race.
It's a serious business among competitors in the 3km Stand Up Paddle with barely two points separating the top three paddlers. Jeremy Stephenson's win last night could just push him ahead of current leader Troy Huston who pipped Troy McAsey for second place by just two seconds. Stacey Smith continued her good form to lead the women's event.
