Sonny Bill Williams is the hottest property on world rugby stage.
Big, strong and fast, the former rugby league player has starred on the All Blacks' Northern Hemisphere tour and was poised to play a major role in the grand slam deciding test aginst Wales overnight.
But it's not only that backhand flip pass that is making his mark.
For the ladies, it's his tattoos and six pack that make them go weak at the knees.
The Herald on Sunday asked women to compare Williams with sporting stars All Black Dan Carter and English soccer star David Beckham.
Singer and radio host Joe Cotton, said Williams' powerful features were a potent combination.
"He definitely didn't hit any branches on the way down," she said. "There's something about big, powerful men. He works out and he's pretty well-built. I could go [for] a tattoo and he has a very nice face - a lot of men who play rugby get their faces smashed."
Williams easily came out on top compared with Carter and Beckham, said Cotton.
"God bless Dan Carter but he's not on my to-do list. Beckham - as soon as he talks I get turned off. I've got a burn on for Sonny."
Shortland Street star Beth Allen said it was the masculinity of rugby players, such as Williams, that women found attractive.
"The shoulders and the tattoos and athleticism. Most women swoon at that, and the skill level," she said.
She said Williams would be the date of choice - for her partner.
"My partner would have to come on the date because he's a huge fan ... It would get me huge brownie points."
Model Ashkia Pratt said Williams' "buff body" and good looks made him her top choice of the three.
"Yeah, I think he's good looking. I think Dan Carter looks a bit cocky and David Beckham looks like a pretty boy."
Retail assistant Roshannah Bagley, 22, said it was Williams' physique and athleticism that many women liked, but she found him "a bit too bulky".
She preferred the look of the other two sports stars. "David Beckham it has to be, but Dan Carter is gorgeous as well. He just seems like quite a nice person," she said.
Beauty therapist Jess Parker, 22, said Williams' body and tattoo made him sexy.
Her pick of the group was Dan Carter - "I just find him the most attractive physically, and his personality."
Analyst Jennifer Moulder said David Beckham's looks made him her pick of the three sports hunks: "He's hot - and I've never watched a soccer game in my life."
For student Darrelle McWilliams, 21, her sports hunk of choice had nothing to do with looks: "Obviously I'd choose the richer one, because they're all good looking."
