New Zealand have drawn Italy, Uruguay and Ivory Coast in their group for the under-17 World Cup which kicks off in the United Arab Emirates in October.
The Junior All Whites open group B by facing Uruguay in Ras Al Khaimah on the opening day. Uruguay made the final of the 2011 tournament before losing to hosts Mexico.
Three days later on October 20 they play Italy, also at Ras Al Khaimah, before finishing group play against Ivory Coast in Abu Dhabi on October 23.
In other groups Brazil will face host country United Arab Emirates, Honduras and Slovakia.
FIFA placed defending champion Mexico with Iraq, three-time winner Nigeria and Sweden in the 24-team draw made Monday.
Argentina is in a group with Austria, Canada and Iran. European Under-17 champion Russia will face Japan, Tunisia and Venezuela. Croatia will play Morocco, Panama and Uzbekistan.
The Oct. 17-Nov. 8 tournament is played in six cities, including Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
