Owen Franks, eat your heart out.
While the All Blacks prop is setting records for his try-scoring futility, Kalolo Tuiloma is racking up tries at historic rates.
The Counties Manukau prop has scored three tries in the first 16 minutes of their Mitre 10 Cup clash with Waikato, setting what is surely a New Zealand NPC record.
He charged over from his first right in front, and then found himself in the perfect position for two more efforts as Counties raced out to an early lead.
Tuiloma has a quality backstory, weighing a colossal 181kg two years ago before dropping to a more mobile 140kg for Counties.
Tuiloma did his schooling at Aorere College and Timaru BHS, where he was remarkably a number eight. In 2013 he appeared for South Canterbury in the Heartland Championship, before heading north. His rise has continued, with Super Rugby a goal.
More performances like this, and teams will be taking notice.
