The Hawke's Bay Rugby Union (HBRU) is trying to ensure minimal disruption as it struggles to find flights and accommodation for its team in Dunedin.
The Magpies' semifinal against Otago on Sunday will be played the day after the Bledisloe Cup test.
HBRU CEO Mike Bishop said flight prices andtickets are at a premium.
"There's not a lot of direct flights at the right times getting in and out of Dunedin, and the plan is to get to Christchurch and then to Dunedin on Saturday.
Bishop said accommodation is sorted but they continue to work on how best to get the team down there.
With accommodation at a premium, Bishop said it could have a financial burden.
"Potentially. I think the priority at the moment is just getting the logistical side of it sorted out so the team is comfortable, and on ground on Saturday night, and we'll worry about the dollar side of it afterwards.
