The All Blacks will have some extra motivation when they face the Wallabies in tomorrow night's Bledisloe Cup test at Jade Stadium.

The video of the All Black haka with swinging handbags released on Channel 7 in Australia is adding a little fuel for the All Blacks, although some might suggest the New Zealand camp needs to lighten up a bit.

The video shows the All Blacks performing the haka with computer images of swinging handbags attached to the players.

Assistant coach Wayne Smith says they know it is a bit of fun but believes it is also disrespectful and a little insensitive to both Maori and the All Blacks, and he hopes players will use it as motivation.

Smith is hoping to send the makers a "thank you" telegram come Sunday.
