Rugby: Tuiali'i suspended for head butt

Crusaders No 8 Mose Tuiali'i will play no further part in this year's Super 12 after being suspended for three weeks by a Sanzar judicial committee in Wellington last night for a head butt.

The ban, until May 24, will see Tuiali'i miss this Friday's final round-robin game against the Hurricanes in Wellington, the following weekend's semifinal and the final a week later - if the Crusaders qualify.

The incident occurred in the 31st minute of the Crusaders' match against the Stormers in Christchurch on Saturday.

Tuiali'i is one of the best New Zealand newcomers in this year's championship.
