Manu Vatuvei's injury curse has struck again, with the giant wing likely to be sidelined for at least two weeks with a wrist injury.
The 25-year-old is one of the game's premier wingers and possesses an outstanding try-scoring record with 87 tries in 127 NRL games.
The Warriors base a
lot of their attacking game around the 112kg giant and he can also draw in several opposition defenders, opening up opportunities for team-mates.
He injured his wrist in Saturday night's 26-12 win over Penrith and will be missing from the side to face the Dragons on Sunday when the team is announced later today.
Vatuvei has had a catalogue of injuries, including troubles with his knees and hamstrings, and broke his his right forearm in last year's Four Nations. The club said they hoped Vatuvei would return in a fortnight in time for their first playoff match.
