Warriors fans disappointed with their team's season so far will still get a special treat at Mt Smart on Sunday.
In years to come you will be able to say you saw Hazem El Masri play his last game for the Bulldogs against the Warriors.
El Masri, who is retiringat the end of the season, will go down in history as one of the game's greatest players.
His goal-kicking has been second to none and that has rightly earned him a spectacular reputation.
But his wing play has also been a great asset to the club.
He is a small man by today's standards, but with outstanding positional play and courage he has marked and kept the best wingers in the world in check, usually finishing ahead in the personal duel.
A humble man in a game that has far too many egos, Hazem deserves a round of applause from all fans because he has been one of the NRL's true champions on and off the field.
