Andrew McFadden has described the Warriors as a "boat full of holes" after his side's latest capitulation.
The Warriors yesterday extended their losing run to seven straight matches, after a 50-16 thrashing at the hands of the lowly Wests Tigers in the penultimate round of the NRL regular season.
Itis the second week in a row the team has leaked 50 points.
The Warriors have now conceded 234 points and scored just 68 in the seven game losing streak.
Having been badly hit by injuries to senior players over the past month, including Shaun Johnson (ankle), Manu Vatuvei (shoulder) and Jacob Lillyman (cheekbone), McFadden admitted some of the replacement players are not up to it.
"We're just not good enough at the moment," he said.
"We're a boat full of holes, and trying to plug one at a time I suppose. At the moment we've got senior blokes who are flogging their guts out, we've got some young kids who are inexperienced and learning the hard way, and some guys that probably aren't up to it," he said.
Forward Ryan Hoffman said they have young players who are having to step up, but they're falling away in key areas.
"The things that are the non negotiables are the effort things and there's been some areas where the effort hasn't been there and that isn't good enough, it isn't showing respect for the jersey."
