South Sydney have officially revealed the results of the club's review into the video scandal that has rocked the Rabbitohs on the eve of their preliminary final.
In a statement released on Friday afternoon the club cleared their players of any actionable misconduct or breaches of their NRL playing contracts, the NRL Rules or the South Sydney code of conduct.
A panel which included Rabbitohs chairman Nick Pappas and CEO Blake Solly were assigned the task of investigating the complaint, which was originally made in May of this year.
Karyn Murphy of the NRL Integrity Unit was also involved with the panel.
"Representatives of the panel interviewed South Sydney players and staff," the statement read.
"The Rabbitohs have no further comment to make at this time."
I have not sexted anyone. I fully cooperated with the inquiry as I said I would. I have engaged lawyer Chris Murphy to pursue my remedies and he has retained defamation lawyers.
I have given a full account to the Inquiry and answered every questioned asked. It’s now in Mr Murphy’s hands. The next move is up to him. I have nothing more to say at this stage.
South Sydney's premiership charge was thrown into turmoil earlier this month when The Daily Telegraph reported the complaints made by a woman following a Facebook messenger call with several players earlier this year.
