"We're not thinking about Origin at the moment, we've got a massive game against the Warriors in New Zealand and then Manly up here who were very physical in beating the Bulldogs 12-10," said Griffin.
The looming heavyweight clash with Melbourne though will be hard to shut out, especially if both sides win again next weekend.
"You definitely know it's coming," said young Brisbane forward Alex Glenn, who could even lead the Broncos against Melbourne should Griffin decide against backing up some of his Origin stars like he did last year.
"That game (Melbourne) will be a great challenge for us as a club and for the young players but we've got to keep the focus on the team we're playing each week and not let ourselves get too far ahead."
Glenn capped a great seven days, which started last Friday night playing for New Zealand against Australia at Eden Park with two first half tries against the Titans.
"It was an honour to pull on the black and white jersey for my country last week and great to get some good touches and a few tries for Brisbane tonight," said the 23 year-old who continues to deny Matt Gillett a start in Brisbane's back-row.
The young Kiwi international said there was a terrific feeling among the playing group which had been built on a tough training ethic.
"We've trained really hard and all the boys are showing some great character, none of us want to let our teammate down," he said.
Brisbane's only concern from their win was a corked knee suffered by Hodges in a collision with Nate Myles's head in the first half.
