League: Hodges may miss Origin

Brisbane centre Justin Hodges is in danger of missing the remainder of the State of Origin series after being issued with a grade three dangerous throw charge by the National Rugby League match review committee.

An early guilty plea will wipe the Maroons ace out for six matches after he tipped Parramatta hooker Mark Riddell on his head midway through the first half of last Friday's match in Brisbane.

Parramatta and New South Wales centre Jarryd Hayne is also likely to miss the second Origin match in Brisbane on June 11 after being charged with a grade two dangerous throw.

It has a minimum two-week ban.

North Queensland lock Luke O'Donnell is facing three separate charges, including one for abusing a touch judge, following an eventful game in Townsville last Saturday.

He faces a six-week ban with early guilty pleas.Manly's Adam Cuthbertson, can escape with a one-game ban for his careless high tackle on Canberra's Troy Thompson.
