Rugby: Botica the toast of Biarritz after win

Former All Black Frano Botica was the toast of Biarritz after they stunned champions Stade Francais 35-19 in the French rugby championship yesterday.

Botica contributed 25 points from six penalties, a dropped goal and two conversions.

Montferrand and Biarritz meet on Sunday morning (NZT) at Lyon for a place in the championship final, while Castres, who overran Colomiers 37-26 yesterday, travel to Toulouse, who beat Perpignan 20-15 yesterday.
