Speedalot, Sir Kinloch and On The Quiet galloped impressively at Pukekohe yesterday.

Working on the all-weather sand, Speedalot ran 1000m in 1:4.1, pace really on for the last 800 in 49.6 and 600 in 37.

Sir Kinloch raised hopes he might recapture winning form by dashing 1000m in 1:1.3, the
last 600 in 37.2.

On The Quiet completed 1200m in 1:14.5, the last 1000 in 1:00.3 and 600 in 37.1, outstanding work for a one-win horse.

Prized Touch and Braxton set off quietly at the 12000m and sprinted the final 600 in 37.4. Prized Touch looks a real improver.

Old Sox, sharpened by a recent trial, completed 1200m nicely in 1:17.7, the last 600 in 37.7.

Western Ra and Breezed finished 1000m in 1:3, the last 600 in 38.

* Another impressive workout by Madamvizelle at Matamata yesterday showed that she will again be hard to beat when she lines up at Te Rapa on the weekend.

Galloping on a good sand, Madamvizelle (Wenn) had speed on throughout 1000m in 1:02.8, the last 600m in 37. She is in excellent order for a repeat of her last start Te Rapa win.

Pinprick was another form runner to draw attention to his weekend prospects. On the course proper, which was slow 22 metres out, Pinprick (Coleman) was accompanied by Kirra Sand (Ramsay) over 1200m in 1:22.7, the final 600m in 41.2.

Promising two-year-old Lunus (Ritchie) went with Nom De Plume (M. Carston) over 1000m in 1:14.3, quickening for a smart final section in 39.4. Zamfir (Walker) was working well at the end of her work, with the last 600m taking 39.8.

Dahling (Davidson) strode over 1200m in 1:27.4, the final 600m in 41.3. Gilded Light (M. Carston) took 1:26.9 for 1200m and 44.2 for the last 600m. Caprianna (Sapsworth) covered 1200m in 1:25.8 and the last 600 in 41.4, while Merchandise (T. Thornton) ran his last 600m in 40.4.

Back on the sand, Teepeem (K. McQuade) caught the eye with 1000m in 1:05.2, the last 600m in 38.2. Insignificant (Wenn) and Forelsa (C. Thornton) did good work together over 1200m in 1:17.8, the last 600 in 37.

Steel Tycoon (Davidson) and Keeper On (Coleman) recorded 1:07.5 for 1000m and 38.8 for the last 600. Habana (P. Ormsby) was not after time as he got through 1000m in 1:09.8 and 600m in 41.4, while stablemate Kiri (Hillis) and Multi Tasker (P. Ormsby) ran 1000m in 1:07.2 and 39.4.

Lebanese Lawn (M. Carston) ran from the 800m in 52.8 and 600m in 38.4. Vinzky (Walker) took 1:25.8 for 1200m and 41.8 for the final 600, while Ringburner (Davidson) left 1000m behind in 1:06.9, the last 600m in 38.8.

El Cartel (Boyack) and Order (Hillis) took 1:07.5 for 1000m, the last 600m in 39. Over the same ground Hi Flyer (Rastrick) was kept to 1:08.6 and 39.8, while All My Colours (Coleman), an entrant for Hawera tomorrow, took 1:09.4 and 43.2.

Endorse (O. Bosson) was not at top over 1200m in 1:28.9, the 600 in 40.8. Its Only Talk (Coleman) ran 1000m in 1:10.8, the last 600 in 40.6, while Dontdrinkanddrive (Wenn) took 1:10.5 and 44.6. Chessee (M. Carston) and Desert Imp (Coleman) ran from the 600m in 37.8.

On the all-weather track Derry Lad (Gillies) looked well in his work over 1000m in 1:08.4, the last 600m in 39.2.

* Jonty da Scoundrel, who is due to start a new campaign at Hawera tomorrow, worked attractively at Cambridge yesterday morning. The No.2 grass provided heavy footing.

Jonty da Scoundrel (Hills) looked in first-class order when completing 1000m in 1:6.6, sprinting the final 600m in 37.

Texas (Callaway) completed 600m in 39.8. Muralai (Tata) was sent 1200m in 1:21.9, coming home the final 600m in 40.8. Grace (Cheshire) and Slavenger (German) matched strides over 1200m in 1:18.2, finishing off in 38.6.

I'llthinkaboutit (Walsh) and Spinning Meteor (Satherley) came to the end of 1000m in 1:10, the concluding 600m in 39. Fire In The Hole (Gedge) and Auckland Blues (Bain) ran 1000m in 1:7, coming home in 38.4. Baby Snooks (Bransakova) left 800m behind in 52.2.

Rowdy Yates (Leahy) covered 1000m in 1:9.8, the last 600m in 38.4. Sam the Flirt (Cheshire) and an Anabaa gelding (German) worked well together over 1000m in 1:5.2, the final section in 37.2. Viaduct Belle (Walsh) and La Force (Tata) kept up a solid pace over 1000m, running the last 600m in 38.1.

Reigns and Poors (Houston) and La Valista (medium weight) covered 1000m in 1:8.2, the 600m in 39.1.

Von Ryans (medium weight) completed 1000m in 1:9, the last 600m in 39.1. Haws (Elliot) and Mr Hefner (Norvall) were together throughout 1200m in 1:22.9, coming home in 40.6.

Danz Star (Griffin) came to the end of 1200m in 1:18.9, the final section in 39.2.

Working on the sand Pebble Beach (Walsh) and La Scale (Norvall) ran 1000m in 1:9, the final 600m in 40.

Killa Loox (Satherley) and I'm Insatiable (Norvall) matched strides over 1000m in 1:8.1, the last 600m in 39.6.

Working on the No.l grass Gorgeous George (Peters) was untested when cruising 1200m in 1:30, the final 600m in 43.

He will trial at Te Awamutu next week before heading to Brisbane for a tilt at the 0'Shea Stakes and the Brisbane Cup.

Cheeky Devil (medium weight) worked over 1200m, running the final 600m in 39.8.
