Thye New Zealand women's Black Sticks get their Olympic campaign under way overnight when they take on South Korea at the Olympic Hockey Centre.

Black Sticks skipper Kayla Whitelock and her team will want to improve on their fourth placing at London four years ago.

In other action, cyclist Linda Villumsen competes in the women's road race, while Kiwi swimmer Lauren Boyle features in the 400m freestyle heats.
