It took just two minutes for Australia to score the first goal in a 4-2 win over New Zealand in Friday night's men's hockey match in Perth.
Eddie Ockenden scored a great solo goal and Simon Orchard put Australia up 3-0 inside 16 minutes.
Captain Phil Burrows scored against the run of play to put the Black Sticks on the board and Richard Petherick scored the second as New Zealand improved in the second half.
