Julie Seymour is keeping her cards close to her chest when it comes to speculation over her future at the Silver Ferns.
Players wishing to make themselves available for Silver Ferns selection must put their names forward to the national selectors by the end of this week.
Seymour, who captainedthe Ferns last season before injury forced her out of the second test series against Australia across the Tasman, has yet to indicate whether she will continue with the NZ side.
The Canterbury Tactix captain said last night she plans on making an announcement regarding the Ferns in the coming weeks.
"Watch this space," Seymour said.
With the seasons not getting any shorter, and Seymour frustrated with a couple of niggly injuries in the past year, speculation suggests the veteran midcourter may step down from international netball.
Doubts over Seymour's future with the Ferns arose last week when New Zealand coach Ruth Aitken said she was willing to select only players this year who could commit to a two-year programme that includes next year's Commonwealth Games and the 2011 World Championships in Singapore.
Seymour will be 40 years old at the next World Champs.
