New Zealand driver Scott Dixon has moved to the top of the driver standings after two rounds of the Indy Racing league in the United States.
Dixon has grabbed second place at the Grand Prix of St Petersburg in Florida this morning, finishing just over half a secondbehind the winner, Helio Castroneves. Tony Kanaan was third, just under eight seconds further off the pace.
Dixon now leads the series on five points after also finishing second in the previous race at Homestead raceway in Miami, five clear of English teammate Dan Wheldon and Castroneves.
Wheldon won the opening round in Miami last week, but could only manage ninth this morning.
