SYDNEY - Pregnant soapie star Bec Cartwright and world No 2 tennis champion Lleyton Hewitt will marry today during an exclusive ceremony at the Sydney Opera House.
The 21-year-old soapie actress had the final fitting of her white baby doll dress with fashion designer Alex Perry yesterday, it was reportedyesterday.
Cartwright's mother accompanied her daughter to the final fitting before the pair checked into the Hotel InterContinental in Sydney city centre.
According to the report, the 180 wedding guests will attend a pre-wedding drinks reception at the Club InterContinental before buses move guests to the Sydney Opera House for nuptials.
Hewitt's coach Roger Rasheed will be groomsman and the couple will be married by Pastor Brandon Chaplin, the Port Adelaide football club chaplin based at the Bellevue Heights Baptist Church in Adelaide.
This will be followed by a cruise to the reception, believed to be at Taronga Zoo.
Guests will be taken to the wedding by bus and are not allowed to bring cameras or mobile phones with cameras.
The couple became engaged in late January, only six weeks after they began dating, and Hewitt proposed on the night of his loss in the final of the Australian Open.
The couple has put on hold plans to visit Cambodia to check the progress of an orphanage they had committed to funding with money received from exclusive TV and magazine interviews about their relationship.
The wedding caps off a big year for Cartwright, who has bought a house with Hewitt on Sydney's northern beaches.
As well as winning a Silver Logie, the blonde beauty was nominated for the gold Logie for most popular TV personality.
She also won last year's season of Dancing With the Stars, donating her money from the show to the Aids Trust of Australia.
Besides this she recently topped FHM magazine's poll of the 100 Sexiest Women for 2005.
Hewitt recently starred in a cameo role for Home and Away, which screened in June.
