2008 US Open Their 13th and final major victory together goes down as one of the greatest, Woods beat Rocco Mediate on the first hole of sudden-death playoff after the pair were tied following an 18-hole playoff. Woods struggled throughout all 91 holes on one knee, missing the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery.
