Kiwi golfer Lydia Ko has continued her steady start at the final women's major of the year, the Evian Championship in Evian-Les-Bains, France.
Ko has fired a second consecutive round of two-under 69 to be four-under for the tournament and in a tie for fifth.
It was a mixed roundfor the world number two, shooting three bogies and five birdies. An even-par front nine was followed by a back nine which at one stage saw four birdies in six holes, before Ko bogied the last to slip back a stroke.
Korea's Mi Hyang Lee leads at nine-under par by one shot over American Morgan Pressel, who had the round of the day with a six-under par 65.
World number one Inbee Park is in a tie for 20th at one-under.
The 18-year-old Ko is bidding to becoming the youngest ever winner of a major.
The New Zealander can usurp Pressel, who won the Kraft Nabisco Championship at 18 years and 10 months in 2007, if successful at the $5.2 million tournament over the weekend.
