Danny Lee remains in serious contention for his first PGA Tour title at the Greenbrier Classic in West Virginia.
A two-under par round of 68 has Lee remaining just one stroke off the leaders - where he has sat for the whole tournament to date.
Unlike yesterday's round where herecorded 15 pars, today was a tumultuous day of up-and-downs for the Kiwi number one ranked golfer.
Lee had four birdies and three bogies on the front nine alone, before adding another three birdies and two bogies on the back nine - including a birdie at the last to move him into a tie for fifth at 10-under par for the tournament.
He will have to beat out a number of competitors to win however, with 32 players being within five shots of the lead - shared at 11-under by Americans Jason Bohn, Sean O'Hair and Bryce Molder, as well as South Korea's S.J Park.
Bohn showcased the ability from someone well down in the chasing pack to come storming from behind to be a challenger, shooting a nine-under par 61 to leap from a tie for 62nd into a share of first.
A solid final round will further improve Lee's impressive recent string of results, but a win would give him some long-term security and a much-needed breakthrough, with it having been six years since Lee took out the Johnnie Walker Classic as an amateur on the European Tour.
Lee's best ever finish on the PGA Tour is a solo second at the Puerto Rico Open in 2014.
