Phil Mickelson warmed up for The Open at Carnoustie by performing an outrageous trick shot which involved clipping a ball over a brave volunteer's head from just a couple of feet away.
The five-time Major winner showed off his flop shotparty piece with former European Tour pro Gary Evans the slightly foolish patsy.
The first person you tag has to let you try a flop shot on them 👇😂
And while most amateur players would have created a moment worthy of You've Been Framed, Mickelson casually chipped the ball about 6ft in the air and safely down the other side.
Evans, 49, later tweeted a slow motion video clip of the moment with the caption: 'This just happened and I'm still shaking. Thanks Phil.'
If Mickelson's game is as on song later in the week, he could well be in contention to replicate his Open triumph at Muirfield back in 2013.
