New Zealand Knights announced six new players last week, bringing their number of signings to 12. Each club in the eight-team A-League is allowed up to 20 players, and must include three under-20 players.
Danny Hay: The 29-year-old defender returned to New Zealand after stints with Perth Glory, Walsall and
Leeds, where he played Premier League and made a brief Champions League appearance. Has played 20 times for the All Whites.
Noah Hickey: 26-year-old striker formerly with the Kingz but also helped Tampere to the league title in Finland. Has played at NZ under-17, under-21, under-23 and senior level.
Darren Bazeley (Defender): Another Walsall export, the 33-year-old defender has also played for Watford and Wolves.
Danny Milosevic: The 26-year-old goalkeeper was a feature of Australian under-age sides and has also played for Leeds and Celtic.
John Tambouras: A former Kingz defender, the tenacious 26-year-old has also played with South Melbourne and Kalamata FC in the Greek first division.
Frank Van Eijs: Dutch defender, 33, is a player with a good pedigree having played in Belgium, Holland, China, Germany and Vietnam but also with Scottish Premier League side Dundee.
Sean Devine: A 32-year-old English striker with considerable experience in England with Wycombe Wanderers and Exeter City.
Steve Fitzsimmons: Australian midfielder, 28, played for Parramatta Power, Marconi and the Brisbane Strikers.
Naoki Imaya: A 24-year-old Japanese-born midfielder with recent experience in Switzerland. Moved to Australia with his family at age 10.
Glen Moss: The 22-year-old keeper has played for New Zealand at under-20, under-23 and All Whites level. Has experience in the Australian national league with Sydney Olympic.
Josh Maguire: The 24-year-old midfielder has featured for glamour Romanian club side Steaua Bucharest but his career in Europe was hampered by work permit problems.
